This week you vegetable share may contain the following:

Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Delicata Squash
Butternut Squash
Arugula (baby, delicate, not washed to avoid wilting in bag, please rinse thoroughly before using)

Dairy Share: One Yogurt, One Cheese

Meat Share: LAST MEAT SHARE, please return your coolers next week which is the last week of summer CSA

Honey Share: LAST HONEY SHARE, one jar

This Saturday is our annual fall harvest party. Please find the details below. I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend. Should be cold and windy, a true fall day! Remember to RSVP for kids who want to paint pumpkins. We purchase these and we do not want to be short for the kiddos!

We have a surprise fall green that has rallied to join in for the final shares this season despite the recent weather, baby arugula. We are calling it the last chance qualifier of the season. I have received lots of emails and comments about everyone's burgeoning love of delicata squash. I would love to say I support this movement but it does mean I have to share more, sniff, sniff. I have found some truly delicious fall recipes this week to share with you all. Have a wonderful week, see you all on Saturday, and as always, Happy Healthy Eating! - Jess Gorski
