Founded in 2001, Homestead Farm's mission is to help develop a just and sustainable food system in the region by fostering understanding, communication and partnership among diverse groups concerned with farming, hunger, and other issues related to food. The farm nurtures collaborative projects that support the region's farmers while increasing the availability of healthy, locally grown food to the people the Eastern Shore. In addition to Community Supported Agriculture, Homestead Farm markets wonderful fresh vegetables to local Maryland restaurants and Farmer's Markets.
